Child Inclusive Mediation
There are many benefits to separated parents engaging in a Child Inclusive Mediation that assists them to hear and consider their children’s experiences and needs within a brief, therapeutic mediation process.
It is very stressful for children with parents in conflict and the children will often be more than aware that their parents are seeking to reach agreement about arrangements for them.
The Child Inclusive Meditation allows the child’s voice to be heard in the mediation. It is a chance for them to air their views and thoughts on their care, schooling or any other arrangements that are being discussed in the mediation.
This is a confidential session for all parties and both parents need to consent to Child Inclusive Mediation.
Children from 6 years and adolescents often benefit from being heard in this way.
